Room Setting.

After discussing this subject with my group, we have decided to put aside the idea of shooting a crime scene, as we regarded it as very complicated, considering that we only had 1 day to shoot the hole thing.
So we followed my Shot list, and decided to film according to our original plan.
So, first of all, we were deciding how our room would look like, and so it will be a causal sleaping room of an old person:
Props:
-Bed
-Carpet
-Old photos
-Shelves
An old TV is going to play one of the most significant roles in creation of the atmosphere. Obviously, we can't find genuine old TV in our school, so we decided to use basic computer screen. It will appear to look like the TV screen in the dark and will provide us with the light supply we need in the dark room. In addition to this, One of the main props is artificial blood  and knife as we are going to use them in the scene with the woman who committed suicide. This woman will be played by Sasha, a girl from our class.

Lightning:
-Night time
-Quite dark
-Light coming from the window

In what has been a busy week, you have still managed to blog the importance of planning for your shoot of a film opening sequence. The blog entries clearly demonstrate your understanding of shot list and the need to design you set and organise props. At times this is too generic and you need to document what you have done for the day of the shoot - ie blog your group's shot list. Evidence and source props etc.
